James Rea

Regional Sales Director

Mr. Rea is a Regional Sales Director for the Florida and Georgia territory at NexPoint Securities, Inc. Prior to joining NexPoint in July 2022, he spent over 20 years in capital and real estate investment sales, research and marketing for funds totaling over $20 billion in assets for substantial public and private investment companies like GE Capital, CNL, Bourne Seniors Housing, and Red Oak Capital Holdings. Mr. Rea has extensive experience and education in both real estate markets, capital market, and debt markets for income, growth, and total return alternative investment strategies using Direct Investment, Reg D 506b, Reg A+ Tier II, DSTs, Non-Traded REITs, Notes, and Bond offerings. He received a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Marketing and Hospitality Administration from Florida State University, and holds FINRA Series 7, 22, and 63 licenses, a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license, and has completed all courses 101-104 for his CCIM designation.
